The Original Ginger team is proud to be out and about in the community all year round, having fun supporting local businesses and charities. While we love to celebrate and give back in every season, we have to admit – summer has got to be one of our favourites. As the days get a little shorter and cooler, we’re taking a look back on some great photos from when we sponsored a sweet summer shindig: the 2017 BC Lupus Society Walk for Research and Picnic Party in the Park.
We’re proud to work with the BC Lupus Society on a number of fundraising events each year, from formal galas to casual picnics. Each one is a lot of fun, but you just can’t beat a beautiful sunny day with a walk by a scenic lake, music and dancing, a delicious free barbeque, and entertainment for the whole family! The Original Ginger team hosted a super popular kid’s booth, and we brought our friends Superman and Supergirl along to twist balloons and paint faces. These wonderful entertainers work with a company called HotShotz, and they did an amazing job of staying in character and bringing a lot of excitement and laughter to everyone at the party. Tigers and butterflies, flowers and swords – we had something for everyone! Check out some of these great photos of the party in action.
