Inclusion Langley Society
Lending a Hand to Build an Inclusive Brand
The Inclusion Langley Society (ILS) was a newly emerged non-profit in search of a clear brand it could present to the world. Created by the recent merger of two separate charitable organizations, their services support more than 1400 children, youth and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. They also work toward the common goal of a more inclusive community. While their expansion gave them the ability to help more individuals, the ILS still needed help with their marketing and branding. That’s when they came to us for a brand elevation…
Creating Cohesion for a Charitable Organization
Without a unified brand strategy or visual design, the ILS was missing out on opportunities to create more brand awareness for the people in need of their services. We needed to find a common vision and identity that would represent all the many facets and capabilities of this organization. First, we led them through our brand discovery process, a kind of ‘self-discovery’ for businesses that allows our experts to clearly identify an organization’s goals, values, vision, and mission. Then from this, we developed a winning brand strategy and brand identity design that would set them apart from other non-profits.
Rallying Behind a Powerful Tagline.
Because of the important work they do in the community, the ILS’s brand had to resonate with their audience. After all, their main message is one of inclusion and acceptance, and therefore, their brand had to be approachable and welcoming. And that started with the tagline we crafted : ‘Believing. New Beginnings. Belonging’, simple phrasing that captures the values at the core of their brand. With their new brand strategy, visual identity and tagline, the ILS is now ready to reach more people and to move forward in their brand awareness goals. And we are sure their efforts will be energized by the solid brand identity they can now rally behind. In fact, they’re already using their new branding in the office and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
